Google isn’t very clear about recording meetings in Google Meet.  If you’re unable to record a meeting, they don’t tell you why & just hide the button.  For more on who can record meetings, refer to this Google support document: https://support.google.com/meet/answer/9308681?hl=en

Simply download the extension, follow along with the initial setup, & click on “Record Meeting” in the Scribbl extension toolbar.
