How do I connect Scribbl to ChatGPT or Claude?
Copy your connection link from your Scribbl settings, paste it into Claude or ChatGPT as a custom connector, and sign in with Google when it asks. From then on, Claude or ChatGPT can search the transcripts and notes of every meeting you have recorded and answer questions about them. On the Scribbl side it is included with any paid plan. On their side you need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan. More on the Claude and ChatGPT page.

What do I need?
- A paid Scribbl plan. Pro is $13 per user per month billed annually, or $20 monthly. See plans and limits.
- For Claude: Claude Pro or Team.
- For ChatGPT: ChatGPT Plus, Business or Enterprise, with developer mode turned on.
Custom connectors are a paid feature on Claude's and ChatGPT's side. On the Scribbl side it is included with any paid plan.
How do I connect it?
- Copy your connection link from your Scribbl settings. It is yours and tied to your account.
- Paste it into Claude or ChatGPT as a custom connector. In Claude, that is Settings, then Connectors, then add a custom one. Sign in with Google when it asks.
- Ask it about your meetings.
That is the whole setup. It takes about a minute, and from then on your meetings are something it can read.
What can Claude or ChatGPT do with it?
Two things: search across your meetings, and read one. Both are declared read-only, so neither writes anything back into Scribbl. Treat the connection itself like any other account access: only add it in a Claude or ChatGPT account you control, and disconnect it if you stop using it.
What can it see?
The meetings you own and the meetings someone has shared with you. Nothing else, and nothing belonging to a colleague who has not shared with you. You can also point it at only the meetings in one Smart Collection.
Claude or ChatGPT, which works better?
Claude, today. ChatGPT requires you to turn on developer mode, which disables memory for that chat. Scribbl is working with OpenAI to make it simpler. If you have both, start with Claude.
What can I ask it?
Ordinary questions, answered from what was actually said. For example:
- What did Acme say about pricing in our last three calls?
- Draft the follow-up from yesterday's renewal call.
- What objections came up most across this month's sales calls?
- Catch me up on this account before my call at 2.
Is this the same as pasting a transcript into a chat?
No. Pasting gives it one meeting and uses up the conversation. Connected, it searches everything you have recorded and pulls only the parts it needs, so it can answer questions across months of calls. It also picks the right meetings on its own: you ask about an account, not about a file.
Does it cover my Zoom and Teams meetings too?
Yes. Once the connection is on, it reads across everything you have recorded, whichever platform the call happened on: Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Can I ask questions about a meeting without connecting Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Each meeting page in Scribbl has an AI chat on that one meeting. The free plan includes 1 AI chat question per meeting, and Pro has no limit. Connecting Claude or ChatGPT is for asking across every meeting at once.
Is this an MCP server?
Yes. Technically the connection is an MCP server, so if your AI tool supports custom MCP connectors it will most likely work here too.
