How do I uninstall Scribbl?

Either of these works:

• Right-click the Scribbl icon next to Chrome's address bar and choose Remove from Chrome. If the icon is hidden, click the puzzle piece first.
• Or open chrome://extensions, find Scribbl and click Remove.

Chrome asks you to confirm, and that is it. The Chrome extension is the part of Scribbl that records Google Meet.

1. Quit Scribbl Desktop if it is running.
2. Open Finder, then Applications.
3. Drag Scribbl to the Trash, or right-click it and choose Move to Trash.
4. Empty the Trash.

Scribbl Desktop is the part of Scribbl that records Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

2. Open Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps.
3. Find Scribbl, open its menu and choose Uninstall.

No. Uninstalling removes the software from your computer and nothing else. Your account, your notes, your transcripts and your videos stay in your Scribbl account, and you can still sign in on the web to read, search and share them. Install Scribbl again at any time and new meetings land in the same account.

You do not have to uninstall anything. On chrome://extensions, turn Scribbl off with its switch and turn it back on when you want it. On a Mac or Windows PC, quit Scribbl Desktop and open it again later.
